Greater Toronto Area
39 companies that build, install, service and sell them, ranked by the published SaunaIndex Score. Call any of them directly. No forms, no shared leads, nothing for sale here.

Last updated: By The SaunaIndex Bench
No forms. Every profile shows the company's own number. Nothing here is a lead form, and no contact detail you enter is sold, because there is nothing to enter.
These are the 8 highest-ranked sauna and cold plunge companies across Greater Toronto Area right now, scored out of 100 on SaunaIndex's published method rather than by who paid. The list mixes builders, installers, repair companies and retailers, so check each card for what that business actually does before you reach out. Every card shows the real Google rating, the review count, and a direct way to reach the company.

SaunaIndex covers 2 categories across the Greater Toronto Area, from backyard barrel and cabin builds to indoor rooms, infrared cabins, cold plunges and the showrooms that sell kits, heaters and tubs. They are kept separate on purpose, because these are different trades: a retailer sells you the equipment, an installer builds it in, and a repair company fixes what is already there. Behind the directory sits a dataset of 39 businesses, each scored out of 100 across three published pillars, at an average rating of 4.6★ across 26 rated companies. Every category hub ranks its companies by that score, never ad spend, then links straight to the company's profile and its quote request. Pick the one that matches what you need done.
It depends far more on the parts of the job people forget to price than on the sauna itself. An outdoor build needs a level base and a power supply run out to it. An indoor room needs a vapour barrier, a vent path and a dedicated circuit. A steam room is a waterproofing job with a generator in it. A kit price is a materials price and stops at the box.
SaunaIndex researches market pricing for each category from named sources, never guesses, and shows the source beside every figure so you can check it. Each guide breaks down what is in a quote, what usually is not, and the Ontario rules that move the number, then links you to ranked companies you can call.
SaunaIndex maps every one of its 39 listings to a specific Toronto neighbourhood, borough or GTA city, so you can start with companies that already work near you rather than one somewhere across the region. That is 26 areas in all, from downtown Toronto and the boroughs of North York, Scarborough and Etobicoke out to cities like Mississauga, Vaughan and Markham. Most of them hold one or two companies, which is too thin to rank honestly. 2 areas have enough listed companies for a page: Toronto (6), Vaughan (4). Each of those ranks the local companies in every category by the published SaunaIndex Score, so you can shortlist and call the ones that fit. Everywhere else, start from the category pages instead: every company is on one of them, wherever it is based. Delivery and travel charges are worth asking about either way, since a backyard build usually involves getting a large unit onto your lot.
Three steps, and the third one is reaching out to the one that fits. Compare companies ranked by the published SaunaIndex Score, check what the work usually costs, then send a request to one that fits. The whole directory is free to read, nothing is sold here, and you are never obligated to hire.
The formula
SaunaIndex gives every company one score out of 100, built from three pillars: 45 points for its Google reviews, 25 for what it states about itself on its own website, and 30 for how complete its record is. The rating inside the first pillar is blended with the dataset average of 4.6★ using a 10-review prior, so a 5.0 on 4 reviews cannot leapfrog a 4.8 on 300. Scores on the live data run from 23 to 77. Nothing in the middle pillar has been checked by anyone here: it is what a company wrote about itself and a crawler read once. For example, a 5.0-star company with 4 reviews and no website ranks below a 4.8-star company with 300 reviews, a site that answered and photos, because volume, what it states and record completeness favour the second. No company can buy a higher position, and the method is identical for all 39 listings.
Before you commit to any Greater Toronto Area sauna company, these are the questions that separate a complete quote from one that grows later. Each one points at something that is either in the price or is about to be a change order: the base, the wiring, the venting, the delivery and what happens if something fails.
Start with the ranked list, open two or three profiles, and contact the ones you like: by phone where a listing publishes one, or through its request form otherwise. SaunaIndex does not make contact for you.
